Mixed luck for NSW U-19 teams
Bangalore: Nithin Bille’s 80 set the base for KSCA under-19’s 96-run victory over New South Wales under-19 here recently.
The visitor however struck back through its under-19 women’s team that defeated the host’s women’s side by nine wickets. Angela Reakes reaped a five-wicket haul and Alyssy Healy hit an unbeaten 96 for the winner.
The scores: KSCA U-19: 281 for eight in 50 overs (Nithin Bille 80, Sunil Raju 57) bt New South Wales U-19: 185 in 43.5 overs (Tim Armstrong 63).
KSCA women’s XI: 160 in 44.5 overs (Krithika 45, Angela Reakes five for 18) lost to New South Wales U-19 women 164 for one in 26.5 overs (Alyssy Healy 96 n.o., Sarah Coyte 58).
