Stunning IPL launch planned

BANGALORE: It could well be the mother of all opening shows as the DLF-Indian Premier League (IPL) kicks-off here on Friday at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium amid dazzling display of dance, music, acrobatics, sky jumping and laser show lending a surreal colour to the opening ceremony. The man, who envisaged and all set to execute, what he calls a “visual opulence” is T. Venkat Vardhan, Managing Director, DNA Networks. Shankar, Ehsaan and Loy, the Bollywood music directors, would also perform on stage.
