Staff Reporter

CHENNAI: Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi along with Electricity Minister Arcot N. Veeraswami and Local Administration Minister M.K. Stalin visited Drive-In Woodlands Restaurant on Cathedral Road on Sunday. The restaurant was closed down on Friday following a High Court ruling. The High Court ruling had been in favour of developing the premises into a horticultural and botanical garden.

However, after the restaurant authorities obtained permission, vehicles were allowed to be parked inside, manager M.K. Sharma told The Hindu.
