Chirag, Aanchal, Tanmay claim titles

NEW DELHI: Chirag Kapoor (kids - boys), Aanchal Malhotra (kids - girls) and Tanmay Ashra (tiny tots) emerged champions in their respective sections of the seventh Hans Raj Model School Open table tennis tournament here on Sunday.

The results: Kids-Boys: Final: Chirag Kapoor bt Karan Sharma 9-11, 11-7, 11-8, 11-2; Semifinals: Kapoor bt Parth Virmani 11-9, 8-11, 11-4, 11-8; Sharma bt Parth Kohli 8-11, 12-10, 5-11, 11-8, 12-10. Kids-Girls: Final: Aanchal Malhotra bt Anshika Khurana 7-11, 11-6, 11-3, 11-8; Semifinals: Aanchal bt Harsha Kalra 11-2, 6-11, 11-9, 10-12, 12-10; Anshika bt Srishti Gupta 3-11, 11-7, 11-8, 11-9.
