CBI inspector files bail plea

NEW DELHI: An inspector with the Central Bureau of Investigation who was arrested for allegedly accepting a bribe for letting off an accused in the slum rehabilitation plot scam involving Ashok Malhotra on Thursday moved his bail plea before a CBI court here.

Arguing for his client Dinesh Thakur before Special CBI Judge I. K. Kochhar, defence lawyer Ramesh Gupta sought to establish that the complainant in the case was in the habit of making superficial complaints and had also earned the wrath of the Delhi High Court in this regard.
