Man stabbed to death

UDUMALPET: A 61-year-old farmer Nataraj Gounder was stabbed to death by an unidentified gang at his farm house at Periyavalavai Pirivu on the small hours of Tuesday.

The police said that land dispute could be the motive behind the murder. Nataraj Gounder called his wife and sons on his mobile phone, as the gang tried to break open the door of the farm. The gang escaped before his sons arrived.
