Man gets life term for murder

Krishnagiri: The Krishnagiri Principal District Sessions Court on Tuesday awarded life imprisonment to a 44-year-old man for murdering his wife and imposed a fine of Rs.1,000.

According to the prosecution, Arumugam, of Kallur near Uthangarai, murdered his wife, Yashoda (40) on January 9, 2005, following a family dispute. — Staff Reporter
