Aircel beats Reliance

CHENNAI: Aircel defeated Reliance by 40 runs in the Twenty20 telecom tournament, conducted by VS Sports Network, here recently.

The scores:

Aircel 128 for three in 20 overs (Preethi Vardhan 55 not out) bt Reliance 88 in 18.2 overs (K.P.R. Chandran 43, Raja Raman four for seven, Venkataramanan three for 22).

Tata Indicom 96 for nine in 20 overs lost to Vodafone 97 for four in 13.1 overs (Irshad 29 n.o.).
