Police inspector found dead

New Delhi: A Delhi Police inspector posted with the bomb disposal squad was found dead in his friend’s residence in south Delhi, police said on Sunday.

Bhola Ram Meena, attached with the Central District’s squad, had gone to his friend Surender’s residence on Saturday evening, they said.

Surender, working with Post Office in Malaviya Nagar, informed police at around 5 p.m. that Meena has died in his residence.

Police said alcohol bottles were recovered from the room where Meena and Surender met.

The body has been sent for post mortem.
