2 foreign tourists drown in Goa

PANAJI: Two foreign tourists drowned at Morjim beach of north Goa on Sunday.

Police officials at Pernem police Station in north Goa told The Hindu on Sunday that one of the tourists was an unidentified female aged around 32-35 while the other was identified as Horne Stanely William,70, a British national.

The police rushed to the beach on Sunday afternoon after they were informed by the Arambol police outpost about the incident. The bodies were sent to Goa Medical College hospital for post mortem, the police said.
