Applications sought from poojaris for board membership

TIRUCHI: The Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department has invited applications for enrolment of members in the Village Temple Poojaris Welfare Board.

Village temple poojaris, in the age group of 21 to 60, and serving in temples which are not under the control of the HR& CE Department, are eligible.

The temples should have been in existence for at least 10 years.

Proof of employment

Applicants should submit a certificate of proof of employment in the temples from the respective village administrative officers, panchayat president of the HR&CE Department officer.

Only one member from a family would be eligible for enrolment as members of the Board.

Applications can be obtained from the office of the Deputy Commissioner, HR&CE, 50, NSB Road, Rockfort, Tiruchi. It can also be had from the offices of the Inspectors of the HR&CE, according to a press release from the HR&CE Department.
