Rules amended

CHENNAI: The government has amended the rules of appointing the Secretary, Law Department, and Remembrancer of Legal Affairs in Class XIX.

As a result of the amendment to the Special Rules for Tamil Nadu General Service, the method of appointment shall be by transfer from any other class or service, promotion from among the holders of the posts of Additional Secretaries in the Law Department or for special reasons by direct recruitment. — Special Correspondent
