‘Mayawati seeking cheap publicity’

Bhopal: Samajwadi Party MP Jaya Bachchan on Tuesday accused Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati of pursuing action against her husband Amitabh Bachchan only for “cheap publicity.”

“The media gives publicity when she attacks Mr. Bachchan,” she told journalists here. “You will take Amitabh’s name. Your name will be associated with him. Journalists will publish his name. This is for cheap publicity… She does so many things. You people [journalists] don’t publish [these reports]. You publish when she attacks Amitabh.” — PTI
