CPT reigns
KOCHI: The host, Cochin Port Trust (CPT), defeated Tuticorin 25-17, 25-14, 25-12 and retained the Major Ports all-India volleyball title at Willingdon Island here on Monday.
Cochin Port’s Shijo Thomas was adjudged as the tournament’s best player.
The Cochin Port Trust Chairman N. Ramachandran presided over the closing function and Vinson M. Paul, Inspector General of Police, Ernakulam Range, gave away the prizes.
