HYDERABAD: Lahore Badshahs notched up the sixth straight win with a 22-run verdict over Kolkata Tigers in the Edelweiss 20s Challenge cricket championship at the Lal Bahadur Stadium here on Friday. If Kolkata Tigers entertained hopes of a dramatic victory at the break after restricting Lahore to 153 for four, it faded away in no time when the chase began. Mohd Sami and Azhar Mehmood struck telling blows to reduce Tigers to 11 for four in the fourth over. Earlier, Lahore Badshahs overcame a sedate start scoring 26 for one from five overs to post a challenging score. The scores: Lahore Badshahs 153 for four in 20 overs (Taufeeq Umar 41, Hasan Raza 48, Naved Latif 30 not out) bt Kolkata Tigers 131 for seven in 20 overs (Craig McMillan 30, Rohan Gavaskar 46 not out, Azhar Mehmood two for 25). — Principal Correspondent
