Circar Express to start from Egmore

CHENNAI: The Chennai Central- Kakinada Circar Express will be operated from and to Chennai Egmore from April 1 owing to terminal constraints at the Chennai Central and to facilitate operational flexibility.
The train (no.6043) will leave Egmore at 5.45 p.m. and reach Kakinada at 9.40 a.m. the next day. In the return direction, train no 6044 will leave Kakinada at 2.40 p.m. and arrive at Chennai Egmore at 6.30 a.m. the next day, according to a press release.
Suspension of EMU services
Owing to the construction of a road overbridge between Villivakkam and Anna Nagar, all EMU services running between these two stations will remain suspended with effect from April 1 until further notice.
Extended
In view of Bible convention held at the Divine Mercy Retreat Centre at Elavur, from March 28 to 30, train no.MG 25 Moore Market Complex (MMC)-Gummidipoondi local, leaving MMC at 3.10 p.m. has been extended to run up to Elavur.
In the return direction, it would leave as GM 34 Gummidipoondi-Moore Market Complex local from Elavur at 5.05 a.m.
