Investment ceiling waived for NTPC

NEW DELHI: Opening doors for allowing major investments in India and abroad in generation and transmission sectors, the Union Cabinet on Thursday approved waiving of the Rs. 1,000 crore equity investment ceiling by National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC).
