Rain in city

BANGALORE: Sharp showers lashed the city on Wednesday night.

Many roads were waterlogged affecting the flow of traffic at night. According to Indian Meteorological Department, the airport recorded 14.3 mm rainfall till 11.30 p.m. The Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike control room received a call about uprooting of a tree at Yelahanka New Town.

There were reports of flooding of roads near Marathahalli flyover, Seshadripuram, and Urvashi cinema.
