CHENNAI: Chief Justice of the Madras High Court A.P. Shah wanted young lawyers to be trained by seniors, especially in court etiquettes and in the presentation of cases. Speaking at a function organised by the Law Association to mark the inauguration of a new hall at the Small Causes Court building on Wednesday, he appealed to the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu to teach advocacy to young lawyers in a big way. “I have spoken to K. Chandra Mohan, chairman of the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu, and I am confident that he would take up the cause of the young lawyers.”
The Chief Justice also donated a set of law books to the Law Association library.
