Crackdown against violators of road rules

KARUR: In a continued crackdown against violators of road rules, police registered cases against 44 persons for rash and negligent driving, 27 persons on charges of drunken driving, 33 for driving without a license, 12 for not wearing helmets, four persons for obstructing traffic by negligent parking of vehicles and 12 persons for rash driving.
