Hundreds attend marriage of disabled girl

TIRUNELVELI: Valliammal, an orphan of Florence Swainson Higher Secondary School for the Deaf, Palayamkottai, would not have thought that hundreds of people, including high-profile persons of the society, would come to her marriage.

The entire premises of the school had been decked like a bride. When the wedding reception was conducted at the school auditorium after her marriage with Kandasamy was solemnised by the priests in the chapel on the school premises, it was attended by good number of philanthropists and other VIPs. Palayamkottai Zone Chairman Suba. Seetharaman came to the function and wished the couple.
