Bangalore: Learn visually and quickly. Tuition centres launched by TutorVista.com and Edurite Technologies across the State will try to get students from class IX to XII to do just that. The centres will also help them prepare for competitive examinations, such as the Common Entrance Test and the All-India Engineering Entrance Examination. Announcing the launch here on Wednesday, B.G. Purushotham, president of Edurite Technologies, said that seven centres had been launched in Bangalore and 11 had been launched in semi-urban areas, including Hassan, Bijapur, Davanagere, and Shimoga. Ten more centres will be launched in the coming weeks. The centres will offer tuitions under CBSE and SSLC syllabi. The tutorials that use multimedia tools to make learning fun will begin from April. Each session will be held for 90 minutes, while each batch will have 30 students. “Students can clarify their doubts online. We want students from semi-urban areas to benefit from the course material that we have prepared for the purpose,” he said. Students will also have access to counsellors who will help them prepare for examinations, teach them to manage time and stress and help them choose the right careers. Guest lectures will also be conducted by professors. “There is a dire need for a credible platform, which provides quality infrastructure, strong subject material, experienced teachers and an environment conducive to optimal learning, which will help children improve their academic performance,” said Srikanth Iyer, Chief Executive Officer, Edurite Technologies. Students in semi-urban areas of the State will now have access to the best teachers and technology through Edurite Tutorials, which was available only to students in metros till now. Centres will also be launched in Kerala. In the next three years, about 500 centres will be set up across the country. For details, call 2672 3769, 2672 9263 or log on to www.edurite.com.
