Girijans protest Maoist action

Pangi Nageswara Rao, 38, a girijan of Nakkabanda in GK Veedhi mandal, killed by Maoists on Friday night branding him an informer had no connections with the police, according to his mother Sombri.

She and about 150 villagers of Kumkumpudi, Nakkabanda and Pedapadu organised a ‘rasta roko’ At GK Veedhi on Sunday afternoon with the body of Nageswara Rao at GK Veedhi, according to Visakha Girijana Samakhya. They raised slogans denouncing the Maoists.
