BJP MLA celebrates Holi with a difference
Vadodara: BJP MLA Madhu Srivastav celebrated Holi in a unique way by firing from his licensed revolver in the open air located near the Baroda Dairy on Makarpura Road here on Saturday.
Mr. Srivastav, who is also the chairman of the dairy, took out a procession from his residence to the dairy. He rode on a horse. A large number of his supporters took part in the march.
Holding a sword, he acknowledged the greetings of the people and sprinkled colours on them.
Reports of celebrations have been pouring in from the communally sensitive areas of Godhra, Kalol, Halol, Jambusar, Bharuch, Padra, Amod and other places of central Gujarat, presenting a picture of communal harmony and national integration. Muslims, Christians, and Parsis greeted their Hindu brethren on this occasion and took part in the celebrations. — PTI
