Alim Yates shines

Bangalore: Alim Yates’s 67 helped South Western Railway Institute (SWRI) defeat GTRE SC by four wickets in a KSCA Group II, second division league match here on Friday.

The scores: GTRE SC 196 for eight in 29 overs (Surendra 55, Shankarananda 46 n.o.) lost to SWRI 198 for six in 23.1 overs (Alim Yates 67, Kashinath 45, Vijayanand 41, Ravi Kumar four for 47); MICO Naganathapura SC 222 for seven in 30 overs (Jagannath 41) bt CIL SC 180 for nine in 30 overs.
