Leaders triumphs

KOZHIKODE: Leaders beat Kerala Postal 3-2 to win the Videocon Kozhikode district ‘B’ division football league here on Wednesday. For the winner, Harris (two) and Jaffer were the scorers, while Jobish scored both the goals for Postal.

Jawahar finished third in the ‘B’ division, beating Liberal 2-0, riding on a brace from Sirajuddin. In the ‘A’ division, Guruvayurappan College made short work of Independence 3-0, with Naseem (two) and Tharun doing the scoring. — Principal Correspondent
