Actor Prashanth (extreme left) is in the picture. CHENNAI: A 10-storeyed building housing some well-known names in gold and diamond jewellery now adorns North Usman Road in T. Nagar. Prashanth Real Gold Tower, with about 170,000 sq.ft of floor space and a parking lot to accommodate over 200 cars, has been rented out to jewellers Joyalukkas, Sanghi Jewelers, Royal India Gems and Jewels, besides diamond jewellery retailers and wholesalers. Bank of India will also have a branch here. Governor Surjit Singh Barnala inaugurated the shop on Sunday and was taken on a tour of the building, promoted by Realvalue Promoters as a joint venture with the family of actor Thiagarajan and Prashanth.
