Pharmacists hold demonstration

BERHAMPUR: Members of the South Orissa Pharmacists’ Association (SOPA) demonstrated in front of the office of the Chief District Medical Officer (CDMO) on Thursday demanding appointment of unemployed pharmacy graduates of the State under national rural health mission project.

They handed over a memorandum addressed to the Chief Minister to the CDMO. They also demanded sale of medicines by persons other than pharmacists to be stopped to put check on marketing of spurious and fake drugs.
