Women’s Day celebrated

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: International Women’s Day was celebrated here at the General Hospital Women’s Ward by the State Bank of Travancore (SBT) as part of its community services activities. Mathur K. Nanjunda, general manager, SBT, distributed bed sheets and essential items such as soap, sugar, tea and coconut oil to women patients.

R. Suresh, Resident Medical Officer (RMO), General Hospital; R. Sankar Ram, ARMO, N.V. Rajalekshmi, nursing superintendent, K. Padmanabha Bhat, community services banking manager, SBT, and K. Mahadevan, former leader, Kshema Social Circle, attended the function. — Staff Reporter
