Praveen emerges winner

HYDERABAD: P. Praveen Prasad with 5.5 points emerged winner in the 23rd Brilliant Trophy Open chess tournament.

Infosys recorded a 32-34, 25-10, 15-11 win over Satyam in the volleyball final of the Global Coal Corporate sports festival organised by Dravyansh Corporate Cricket & Sports organisers here.

SCR, APP in last four

South Central Railway and Andhra Pradesh Police were locked in a two-all draw in the V. Hanumantha Rao Super Cup prize money football tournament here on Saturday. However, both qualified for the semifinals.

SCR took the lead through a fine effort from Jude Antony in the27th minute and made it 2-0 when Omar was on target with a long-ranger. In the second session, Waheed and Azeem struck to level the scores for Police.
