Sical flags off first private container train

CHENNAI: Sical Logistics has initiated the operations of its first container train from Hatta Road Railway station in Balaghat District, Madhya Pradesh, near the Kanha Sanctuary. The train is shipping 90 containers of copper concentrate for Hindustan Copper to its factory at Khetri in Rajasthan. Sical Multimodal And Rail Transport (SMART) Ltd, a 100 per cent subsidiary of Sical Logistics, will offer a total multimodal logistics solution to Hindustan Copper, according to a release.
