Bishnoi wins

HYDERABAD: Rajinder Bishnoi of North Western Railway clinched the top honours in the four-km individual pursuit, clocking 5m 02.049s, in the 45th all-India Railway cycling championship at the SAAP cycling velodrome (Osmania University) here on Wednesday.

The results: Men: 4-km individual pursuit: 1. Rajinder Bishnoi (NWR) 5:02.049, 2. Harpreet Singh (CR), 3. Subash Chander (ER).

4-km team pursuit: 1. Central Railway 4:50.956, 2. South Central Railway, 3. Eastern Railway.

1,500m time trial: 1. SCR 1:45.278, 2. Eastern Railway, 3. North Western Railway.

20-km point race: 1. Harpreet Singh (CR) 45 pts, 2. Prasad (SR), 3. Dayalam Choudhary (NWR). — Principal Correspondent
