DMRL lifts trophy

HYDERABAD: DMRL defeated DRDL by three wickets in the final of the Satish Dhawan Space Cup cricket tournament, organised by the National Remote Sensing Agency, here on Sunday. G. Naveen, who scored an unbeaten 48 for DMRL, was named the ‘player of the final’.

S. Thirunavukkarasu, Controller of NRSA and N. Shivlal Yadav, HCA secretary, gave away the prizes.

The scores: DRDL 112 (Ravi J. Prasad 52) lost to DMRL 113 for seven (G. Naveen 48 not out).

Easy for Deloitte

Deloitte recorded a seven-wicket win over Ness Technologies in the Polycom Cricfest tournament for corporate groups here.

The scores: Satyam BPO 170 for seven in 20 overs (Neetal 61, Zeeshan 44) bt Navionics 90 (Yesudas four for 12); Ness Technologies 130 for nine lost to Deloitte 131 for three; GE IIC 149 for nine (Sunil Kumar 43, Rakesh four for 27) bt IBM 102; Polycom 57 lost to Aegis BPO 60 for one.

Ravi, Srinivas shine

Centuries by Ravi Kiron (132) for Monster.com and Srinivas (149) for Dell International in different matches were the highlights of the Global Coal Corporate sports festival cricket tournament here.

The scores: Monster.Com 216 for two (Ravi Kiron 132, Dhananjai 54) bt Times of India 116 for eight (Suresh 41).
