86-member team for South Asian meet

NEW DELHI: The Athletics Federation of India (AFI) on Friday announced an 86-member team for the South Asian athletics championships to be held in Kochi on March 7 and 8.

The selection committee which met here based its choice on the performance of the athletes in the just-concluded Federation Cup meet in Bhopal.

The Kochi meet will be a qualification event for the relay teams aspiring to make the Beijing Olympic Games.

The team:
