Rajesh shines

MYSORE: A fine spell by leg-spinner Rajesh (3.1-2-1-5) helped Mysore University Colleges Sports Council (MUCSC), Mysore, register a 148-run win over Yuvaraja’s College, Mysore, in the KSCA Mysore Zone first division cricket league here on Saturday.

The scores: First division: MUCSC 200 in 50 overs (Md. Ibrahim 56, S. Dhananjaya 50) bt Yuvaraja’s College 52 in 16.1 overs ( Rajesh five for one, S. Dhananjaya four for 37).

Second division: Karavali Cricketers 156 in 42 overs lost to Jaihind CC ‘B’ 158 for five in 30.3 overs (Srinivas Babu 56, Roshan Karumbiah 55).
