Goud dead

HYDERABAD: Apprentice jockey Pramod Goud breathed his last at a private hospital on Saturday at 10.30 a.m.

The unfortunate victim of a mishap when riding Good Heart in the Indian Melody Plate at Malakpet on Monday, he was shifted to the hospital soon after.

Since then, he was in coma in the intensive care unit (ICU).

Having ridden 25 winners, Goud had been adjudged champion apprentice jockey.

Tragically, he was to receive the award on the day of the accident.
