THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Bangalore University won the overall title in the all-India inter-University aquatic meet which concluded at the Water Works Swimming pool here on Friday. Bangalore, which came first in both men’s and women’s sections, logged 133 points. Calicut University (70) and Andhra (47) finished second and third respectively. Rehan Poncha of Bangalore, who won seven gold medals in the meet, was the individual champion in men’s section with 42 points. V. Tejaswini of Bangalore was the individual women’s champion (63 points).

V. Tejaswini (Bangalore), 3. M. Mini (Calicut), (1:22.30 – New Meet Record; Old Record – 1:22.62, M. S. Divya, 2006); 100m butterfly: 1. V. Tejaswini (Bangalore), 2. Amreen Malik (Andhra), 3.
