HYDERABAD: From Saturday, traffic coming from Bazarghat and Nampally Criminal Courts side will not be allowed to go straight towards Khairatabad or Nirankari Bhavan at Ayodhya junction. The vehicles have to turn left at Ayodhya junction, take ‘U’ turn at Masab Tank and proceed towards Khairatabad or Nirankari Bhavan. However, two-wheelers and three-wheelers going from Bazarghat and Nampally Criminal Courts sides can turn right before Ayodhya junction, take the route leading to Pearls Regency hotel, join the stream coming from Lakdikapool at Ayodhya junction near Saifabad police station and turn right towards Khairabad or Nirankari Bhavan. Stopping the vehicles going from Lakdidkapool to Masab Tank at Ayodhya junction to allow traffic going from Bazarghat to Khairatabad is frequently resulting in traffic snarls. Sometimes vehicles are getting stranded up to the Assembly building. The new restriction is being introduced to ease congestion on this route, the Additional DCP (Traffic) Ranjit Singh said.
