Flouride victims stage dharna

HYDERABAD: Flouride victims of Nalgonda district on Friday staged a dharna near the Indira Park resenting the indifference of the State Government towards their woes.

Evangelist and founder of Prajashanti Party K.A. Paul who addressed the camp promised financial assistance for the education of children in the households of the victims. He demanded supply of protected water to the district. The demonstration was organised by Triveni Sanghamam Social Work Society which is based in Nalgonda.

The Sanghma president Eada Sekhar also spoke on the matter. Villagers of Batlapalli, a habitation which was worst affected by flourosis in Nalgonda district, were present.
