Schnyder arrives

BANGALORE: Patty Schnyder, the Swiss star who is ranked 20th in the World, arrived here on Wednesday to participate in the Bangalore Open tennis championship slated to start on March 3.

Schnyder said she was happy to be in Bangalore for the event.

“It is going to be a tough one and has a very strong, challenging field and I look forward to playing my best,” Schnyder said.
