Indians lose

BANGALORE: All three Indian players, Anup Sridhar, Arvind Bhat and Anand Pawar made their exits in the first round of the Yonex German Open badminton championship at Mulheim on Wednesday.

Anup Sridhar, who was a semi-finalist last year, lost to Sheung Mo Shon of Korea at 11-21, 15-21.

Anand Pawar, who had won the Austrian Open title last week, went down fighting to Andre Tedjono of Indonesia 10-21, 21-12, 15-21.

Enwin Khelhofnner of France defeated Arvind Bhat 21-16, 17-21, 21-18.
