Narrow win for DMRL

HYDERABAD: DMRL scored a solitary goal win over Andhra Pradesh Police in the V. Hanumantha Rao Super Cup prize money football tournament at the Gymkhana Grounds here on Monday.

Volleyball trials

Andhra Pradesh Volleyball Association will organise selection trials for men and women to pick the State teams for the South Zone senior championship to be held in Bangalore from March 12. The trials will be held at the Lal Bahadur Stadium on February 28.

CCOB basketball

Carrom teams

Hyderabad teams to take part in the ninth South Zone carrom championship to be held in Puducherry from February 27 to 29 were announced here.

The teams: Men: D. Ravinder Goud, M.A. Hakeem, L. Surya Prakash and E. Ashok Kumar.

Junior boys: K. Srinivas and S. Pawan Kumar.

Women: Ch. Sreenica, R.S.C. Nagajyothi, U. Savita Devi and D. Savithri Devi.
