Record clerks seek promotion

CHENNAI: The Tamil Nadu Highways Ministerial and Subordinate Services Association has demanded promotion of record clerks and junior assistants, regularisation of services of junior assistants appointed on compassionate grounds and filling of vacancies in the post of record clerks in the Highways department.

The Association held a demonstration in the city recently in support of its charter of demands, according to a release.
