‘It’s a good source to generate revenue’ Disinvestment of loss-making boards started Jalandhar: Punjab will soon launch the on-line lottery system to increase its revenue. Giving this information here on Sunday, the State Finance Secretary Baljeet Singh Sandhu said, “It has been noticed that on-line lottery is a very good source to generate revenue for development works and the process for launching it has already been initiated.” About the disinvestment of loss making corporations and boards, Mr. Sandhu said the State Government has identified them and the process of disinvestment of some has started. He, however, made it clear that the Public Corporations that stood chances of being brought out of the red would not be disinvested. — PTI
