A one-stop-shop for automotive accessories To adopt three formats for hawking products CHENNAI: Xenos Technologies Ltd., a company engaged in marketing and distribution of automotive accessories, is the latest to join the retail bandwagon. An outfit of Coimbatore-based Pricol Group, the Rs. 65-core Xenos has set up its first company-owned retail outlet under the banner Xenos Galleria on Anna Salai here. Xenos Galleria will be a one-stop-shop for all automotive accessories. According to Jerry Daniel, Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer, the store is divided into zones, enabling easy browsing. In three years, the company would have 50 Xenos Galleria stores across the country, he said. Mr. Daniel said Xenos would adopt three formats for hawking its products. Besides own stores and franchise-run stores, Xenos was also planning to run ‘Tint & Professional Car Care Centres (T&CC)’. These centres would focus on refurbishing the old vehicles, he added. The first T&CC centre would come up in the first quarter of 2008-09, he said. Xenos would have 350 such centres in three years, he added. Xenos, he said, had tied up with companies like Nokia, Delphi, Directed Electronics and Solar Guard for providing marketing, sales and technical support for their various product lines in India. It had also tied up with companies such as Ford, Tata and Hyundai for supplying various accessories to their vehicles.
