Protest against demolition of temples

NEW DELHI: Representatives of various Dalit social organisations along with the Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee president J. P. Aggarwal and AICCI secretary Jai Kishan met Lieutenant-Governor Tejendra Khanna to protest against the demolition of two Dalit temples in the city.

They said that demolition of temples Maharishi Valmiki Mandir at Kingsway Camp and Maharishi Ravidas Mandir at Ashok Vihar was illegal. .
