6 held for attempted molestation

NEW DELHI: In a bizarre case, six young men allegedly dragged a girl from Manipur out of her house and tried to criminally assault her at Kotla Mubarakpur here on Friday night.

According to the police, the culprits had also locked up the girl’s brother inside the house before pulling her out and taking her into an adjoining flat. However, as the girl cried for help some local residents rushed to her rescue. The police were then called in.
