Special Correspondent

TIRUPATI: Activists belonging to Telugu Mahila , the women’s wing of the TDP and AIDWA, the women’s arm of the CPI (M) have on Tuesday held a dharna in front of the Corporation building here protesting against the Government’s decision to transfer Ayesha murder case to the CBI at this stage. They criticised that it was only an alleged ploy to shield the culprits behind the brutal murder.

N. Vijayalakshmi, State vice-president of the Telugu Mahila and R. Lakshmi, secretary of the Tirupati unit of the AIDWA who led the demonstrations denounced the delay in bringing to book those responsible for the gruesome murder 50 days after incident.
