New Premise: Chief Minister Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy, looking at a model of the new administrative building for HMWSSB in the city on Monday. Hyderabad: The long pending desire of the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) employees to have a new office complex was realised with Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy laying foundation stone for a modern administrative building at Khairatabad here on Monday. The Rs. 20.36 crore building with a total plinth area of 13242.66 sq.mt will be ready for occupation in next two years. At a brief ceremony, the Chief Minister congratulated the Board staff for acquiring a new building. Ministers Koneru Ranga Rao, Mukesh Goud, Member of Parliament Anjan Kumar Yadav were present on the occasion. Later speaking to presspersons, Board Managing Director K. Jawahar Reddy said the building was being designed for ground plus eight floors keeping in view future requirements. NamesSeveral names including Sujala, Jalsauda and Jal Bhavan were being considered for naming the new administrative building which would be hopefully ready by August 2009, Dr, Reddy said.
