SSN wins table tennis title

Ramanathapuram: SSN College of Engineering, Chennai, won the table tennis team title defeating Velammal College of Engineering and Technology, Chennai, 2-0 in the 26th TIES men’s games meet at Mohamed Sathak Engineering College ground, Kilakarai, on Monday.

The results: Table tennis (final): SSN CE bt Velammal CET 2-0 (R.S. Raja bt Vignesh 11-7, 11-2, 11-1; Raguram & Raja bt Sivakumar & Nikil 11-3, 11-6, 11-6).

KSR CE prevails

At Namakkal, KSR College of Engineering clinched a 12-run win over KSR College of Arts and Science in the DCAN inter-collegiate Twenty20 cricket tournament on Sunday.

J. Kirupakarraja picked four for 19 for the winner.
